OTPGmail FAQ: Renting, Buying, Refunds, Payments and API
Short answers to the questions people ask most about OTPGmail, each linking to the page with the full rules. In one line: OTPGmail rents real Gmail and iCloud inboxes for verification codes (no password) and sells short-lived Gmail accounts you can sign in to.
The service
What is OTPGmail?
OTPGmail (otpgmail.net) has two products: renting a real Gmail or iCloud inbox to receive verification codes (no password; you never sign in to the inbox), and buying short-lived Gmail accounts outright, delivered with login details so you can sign in and use them right away. Operator: OTPGmail team, operated from Vietnam since 07/2026. See About OTPGmail.
Does OTPGmail sell Gmail accounts I can sign in to?
Yes. Besides renting inboxes for verification codes, OTPGmail sells short-lived Gmail accounts: you receive the email address and password, plus login cookies or a quick login link depending on the type, and you can sign in and use the account straight away. Lifetimes are short and differ by type, as described for each type on the buy page. The warranty covers your first sign-in within 2 hours of purchase: if it fails, contact support with the order ID for a replacement account or a refund to your balance, depending on stock. Renting an inbox, by contrast, gives you the codes but no password. Buy accounts on the "Buy short-lived Gmail" tab after you log in to OTPGmail — see buy short-lived Gmail accounts.
What is the difference between renting an inbox and buying a Gmail account?
Renting an inbox gives you the code, not the login; buying a short-lived Gmail account gives you the login, not a long-term mailbox. A side-by-side comparison is on products and price ranges.
Can I sign in to a Gmail inbox that I rented?
No. When you rent, you pick the service and @gmail.com or @icloud.com, get a real address to paste into the service you are verifying, and the code or verification link appears on your order page and through the API. To sign in to an account, buy a short-lived Gmail account.
Is OTPGmail a 10-minute mail site?
No. Rented inboxes are real @gmail.com and @icloud.com mailboxes from third-party suppliers, not addresses on a mail domain of OTPGmail's own. Codes show up on your order page or through the API, and orders that get no code are refunded automatically.
Which services can I receive codes from?
The catalogue currently lists 186 services, shown on the price list; each service page publishes its 30-day delivery rate. For a site that is not listed, use "Any service" (it costs more) or suggest it with the "Add service" button.
Does OTPGmail receive SMS or rent phone numbers?
No. OTPGmail handles email only: it does not rent phone numbers or receive SMS.
Rentals and refunds
How long do I wait for a code, and what if none arrives?
Under the default rule, the first code must arrive within the waiting time — 25 minutes at most, shorter at some stock sources (shown on the rental page before you confirm); if it does not, the order cancels itself and 100% goes back to your balance, usually within a minute. See the refund and warranty policy.
Can I cancel a rental?
Yes, before the first code: cancel and 100% goes back to your balance immediately. Once the first code has arrived, the order can no longer be cancelled or refunded. A few services have their own rules with no cancellation, shown before you confirm.
Can I get more codes after the first one?
Yes, if the service sends more than one code per inbox — many send just one. Extra codes cost nothing within the order period; the limit and time window depend on the stock source and are shown on the rental page. Details: extra codes.
How is bulk rental different from a single rental?
A batch holds 1 to 200 inboxes at the same unit price as a single rental, kept for 24 hours; Gmail batches include a code link per inbox for scripts, and iCloud batches are read on the batch page or through the API. Inboxes that receive no code are not refunded; only a shortfall is.
Is a code guaranteed?
No. OTPGmail cannot guarantee that every service sends a code — that depends on the service and third-party infrastructure — which is why rentals without a code are refunded automatically.
Which services have their own rules?
A few services have their own rules, shown on the rental page before you confirm and applied instead of the default — for example a fixed 75-minute window, at most 4 emails, no cancellation and no refund if nothing arrives.
Short-lived Gmail accounts
How long does a short-lived Gmail account last?
Not long, and it depends on the type: some last less than an hour. Read the type description on the buy page, then sign in and use the account as soon as it arrives.
What does the Gmail account warranty cover?
Only your first sign-in within 2 hours of purchase. If that sign-in fails, contact support with the order ID for a replacement account or a refund to your balance, depending on stock; once a sign-in succeeds, the warranty ends. See the warranty rules.
How do I sign in with a quick login link?
Open it in a desktop browser and wait about 10 seconds; each link works about 2–3 times, and opening it repeatedly can trigger a temporary block. Accounts delivered with cookies are signed in with the email and password or by importing the cookies into your browser.
What if Google asks for a captcha?
Google is tightening captcha checks on short-lived Gmail accounts and OTPGmail does not solve captchas; if your tool cannot handle a captcha, do not buy. Captchas are not covered by the warranty.
What is the difference between the two account types?
The "used on a few services" type was previously used to sign up for a few services and may come with a recovery email plus cookies or a quick login link. The "fresh" type has an email and password only and is signed in through the Gmail app; its stock is shown on the buy page.
Can I buy many accounts at once?
Yes, on the web. Larger orders are delivered progressively, and you can view them again and download a .txt file under History; if fewer accounts are delivered than you paid for, the missing part is refunded to your balance automatically.
Payments and balance
How do I top up?
By Vietnamese bank QR transfer, USDT or USDC on many networks, or Binance ID; deposits are credited automatically, even if you leave the page. Outside Vietnam, use USDT/USDC or Binance ID.
Are there top-up fees or limits?
OTPGmail adds no top-up fee; network or exchange withdrawal fees are paid by the sender, and the USDT/USDC rate is shown and locked when you create the order. Per-payment limits are shown on the top-up page.
My top-up has not arrived. What now?
Give it a few minutes: deposits are credited automatically even if you left the page, and USDT/USDC that arrives up to 24 hours after the order expired is still credited. If it is still missing, send the top-up reference and transaction ID through contact and support.
Can I withdraw my balance?
No. Your balance never expires, can be used only inside OTPGmail and is not paid out as cash; in exceptional cases caused by a fault on our side, contact support.
API for developers
Is there an API, and where do I get a key?
Yes. A REST API with a personal key per account: list services and stock sources, create orders, poll for the code, cancel for a refund before a code arrives. Your key is on the Account page and can be regenerated at any time; the public documentation is the API documentation.
How should I poll and handle errors?
Call GET /v1/orders/{id} every 3–5 seconds; new codes are added at the end of the otp array. Send an Idempotency-Key when you create orders. NO_MAILS_AVAILABLE or OUT_OF_STOCK means out of stock and nothing is charged; INSUFFICIENT_BALANCE means you need to top up; above the default limit of 20 requests per second or 900 per minute you get RATE_LIMITED.
Rules, privacy and support
What am I not allowed to do?
Use OTPGmail for legitimate purposes such as developer test accounts, QA, keeping projects or clients separate and signing up for services abroad, and follow each platform's terms. Prohibited uses and their consequences are in the acceptable use policy.
What data does OTPGmail store about me?
Account, order and top-up data, the content of emails that reach your rented inboxes, and support messages; your password is stored as a hash and there are no advertising cookies. Details: privacy policy.
How do I contact support, and how fast do they reply?
Support is by Zalo and Telegram (English pages also list an email address) during business hours, Vietnam time (GMT+7); include your account email and the order ID or transfer reference. There is no fixed response-time commitment. See contact and support.
How can I check OTPGmail for myself?
With things you can verify on your own: live prices and stock, the 30-day delivery rate on each service page, the public API documentation, the published policies, and automatic refunds for orders that get no code.
