Gmail Account Terms: Fresh, Used, Aged, PVA Explained
Listings for Gmail accounts use a short, odd vocabulary: fresh, aged, PVA, regular, ready made, with recovery, cookies. None of these are Google terms, and each seller decides what they mean. This glossary explains every word in plain English and says which ones describe what OTPGmail actually sells. Each term has its own anchor, so you can link straight to it.
Short answer: OTPGmail sells short-lived Gmail accounts in two types, "used on a few services" and "fresh". Both come with a password and are meant to be used right after purchase. OTPGmail does not sell aged accounts or long-term phone-verified (PVA) accounts, and it makes no claims about an account's country or age.
Reading the delivery line
When you buy, each account arrives as one line of text, with the fields separated by four dashes:
email----password----recovery email----quick login link
- email is the @gmail.com address.
- password is the account's password.
- recovery email is a second address attached to the account. When there is none, the field is empty or says "no".
- quick login link signs the account in on a desktop browser.
Some batches of the used type come with login cookies instead of a link, plus a "Read inbox" button on the order page. The fresh type arrives as email----password only. Your order page shows each field with a copy button, and you can download the whole order as a .txt file.
Account types
Fresh, new or brand new
Sellers mean a recently created account that has not been used to sign up anywhere. On OTPGmail this is the "fresh, never used on any service" type: email and password only, no recovery email, signed in through the Gmail app on a phone. Its stock is shown on the buy page. For this type, changing the password, recovery email or phone number counts as accepting the account.
Used
Sellers mean an account already used to sign up on some sites. On OTPGmail this is the "used on a few services" type, delivered with a quick login link or with login cookies, depending on the batch. The fresh vs used guide helps you choose between the two.
Aged or old
Sellers mean an account created months or years ago, and suggest that age makes it last longer. Google publishes no rule that confirms this. OTPGmail does not sell aged accounts. The guide to aged, PVA and short-lived accounts looks at the risks in depth.
PVA and non-PVA
PVA stands for phone-verified account: a phone number was used to verify it at sign-up. Non-PVA means no phone number was used. On a bought PVA account, the number usually belongs to the seller or to someone else, so it does not help you recover the account. OTPGmail does not sell PVA accounts.
Regular and ready made
Vague words for an ordinary account with no special label. They tell you nothing about age, history or what is delivered. Read the delivery line and the warranty instead.
Short-lived
An account sold for use straight away and expected to work for a short time. This is the only kind OTPGmail sells. Lifetimes run from tens of minutes to a few hours, depending on the type; each type's description on the buy page says what to expect. Searches like "gmail account for 10 minutes" often mean this, or a 10-minute mail address; our explainer separates the two.
Sign-in words
With password, or Gmail ID with password
The account comes with its password, so you can sign in yourself. Every account OTPGmail sells has one; a rented inbox never does. See Gmail ID with password.
With recovery email
A second address is attached to the account for recovery. Used-type batches include one when the batch has it, and the order shows "none" otherwise. The fresh type has none.
Login cookies
Cookies are the saved session of a signed-in browser. Importing them with a cookie extension opens the account without typing the password. Treat them like a password and never share them. Our guide on signing in with the Gmail app or cookies shows the steps.
Quick login link
A link that signs the account in on a desktop browser after about 10 seconds. Each link works about 2–3 times, and opening it again and again can cause a temporary block. The quick login link tutorial walks through it.
Read inbox and Check if alive
Buttons on the order page for cookie deliveries. "Read inbox" shows recent emails sent to the account without a Gmail sign-in. "Check if alive" tells you whether the account still works.
2FA
Two-step verification: a second check when someone signs in. OTPGmail makes no promise about 2FA on delivered accounts. Adding it after you sign in is your choice; on the fresh type, adding a phone number counts as accepting the account.
Buying words
Bulk
Many accounts in one order. The buy page shows the limit per order. Larger orders arrive step by step, with a .txt download once everything is in. You can also buy from your own software through the API.
Instant or fast delivery
Accounts arrive within seconds to a few minutes. If fewer arrive than you paid for, or the purchase cannot be completed, the missing part goes back to your balance automatically.
Warranty, replacement and refund
OTPGmail's warranty covers only your first successful sign-in within 2 hours of purchase. If that fails, contact support with your order ID; you get a replacement account or a refund to your balance, depending on stock. A lock after that first sign-in is not covered. The first-login warranty guide explains why. Be careful with any seller who promises an account will never be locked: no seller controls Google's decisions.
Rent vs buy
Renting gives you a real Gmail or iCloud address to receive a code, with no password. Buying gives you an account you can sign in to. The rent vs buy comparison covers when each one fits.
Before you buy any account
Google checks short-lived accounts more strictly than before and may ask for a captcha; OTPGmail does not solve captchas, so a tool that cannot handle one is a reason not to buy. Use bought accounts for your own testing, QA or a short project, never for unsolicited messages, and follow the terms of every platform you use them with. When you are ready, the Buy short-lived Gmail tab shows the types in stock.
Frequently asked questions
What is a PVA Gmail account?
A phone-verified account: a phone number was used to verify it when it was created. When you buy one, that number usually belongs to someone else, so it does not help you recover the account. OTPGmail does not sell PVA accounts.
What does "fresh Gmail account" mean?
An account that has not been used to sign up anywhere yet. OTPGmail's fresh type comes with email and password only and signs in through the Gmail app; its stock is shown on the buy page.
What does "Gmail account with recovery email" mean?
A second address is attached to the account for recovery. On OTPGmail, used-type batches include one when available; the fresh type has none.
Does OTPGmail sell aged Gmail accounts?
No. OTPGmail sells only short-lived Gmail accounts, used or fresh, both meant to be used right after purchase.
What do the four dashes in the delivery line mean?
They separate the fields: email, password, recovery email and quick login link. Cookie batches include the cookies instead of a link, and the fresh type has only email and password.
